Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wu Tai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work The Spectacular Landscape Of Northern Guangdong sold for HKD 201,600.00 (€ 21,584.44) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wu Tai; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hong Kong At Sunset sold at auction in April 2016 with the realized price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,533.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Tai erzielte im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit The Spectacular Landscape Of Northern Guangdong für HKD 201.600,00 (€ 21.584,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wu Tai; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Hong Kong At Sunset im April 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.533,00).
