Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Today No Water by Wu Shanzhuan. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 17,792.78). Admittedly, works by Wu Shanzhuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paradise in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 81,380.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Today No Water von Wu Shanzhuan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 17.792,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Shanzhuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paradise im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 81.380,68).
