Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Blossom by Wu Qinmu was sold in the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 44,840.00 (€ 5,276.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wu Qinmu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Scenery in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 51,140.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossom von Wu Qinmu wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.840,00 (€ 5.276,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Qinmu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Scenery im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 51.140,95).
