In April 2021 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Wu Qinmu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 118,000.00 (€ 12,633.75), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Wu Qinmu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Scenery in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 51,140.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Wu Qinmu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 12.633,75) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Qinmu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Scenery im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 51.140,95).
