The work Playing Qin at West Creek by Wu Qinmu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,825.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wu Qinmu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Autumn Scenery sold at auction in November 2017 with the realized price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 51,140.95).

Die Arbeit Playing Qin at West Creek von Wu Qinmu kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.825,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wu Qinmu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Autumn Scenery im November 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 51.140,95).
