Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wu Qinmu achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in October 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction, the work Landscape in the Style of Shi Xi sold for HKD 112,100.00 (€ 12,812.86) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wu Qinmu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Scenery, which sold at auction in November 2017 for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 51,140.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Qinmu erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I wurde die Arbeit Landscape in the Style of Shi Xi für HKD 112.100,00 (€ 12.812,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wu Qinmu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Scenery beobachtet, die im November 2017 für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 51.140,95) versteigert wurde.
