Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wu Qinmu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Misty Pine Mountain sold for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,194.09) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wu Qinmu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Scenery in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 51,140.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Qinmu erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Misty Pine Mountain für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.194,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Qinmu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Scenery im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 51.140,95).
