This artwork by Wu Qinmu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 49,560.00 (€ 5,454.66) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wu Qinmu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Scenery in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 51,140.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Qinmu erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 49.560,00 (€ 5.454,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Qinmu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Scenery im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 51.140,95).
