Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of HKD 28,050.00 (€ 3,046.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Peifu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Cursive Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem In Cursive Script von Wu Peifu kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 28.050,00 (€ 3.046,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Peifu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Cursive Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
