The work Plum Blossoms And Calligraphy by Wu Meimei was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 14,160.00 (€ 1,616.88), 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wu Meimei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bamboo And Insects, which sold at auction in October 2019 for HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,046.17).

Die Arbeit Plum Blossoms And Calligraphy von Wu Meimei wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 14.160,00 (€ 1.616,88) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Wu Meimei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bamboo And Insects beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.046,17) versteigert wurde.
