Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Seal-Script by Wu Jingheng was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,263.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Jingheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 18,458.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal-Script von Wu Jingheng wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.263,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Jingheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 18.458,71).
