Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady By The Plum Tree by Wu Guandai was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. It changed hands for a price of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,599.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 45,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Guandai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers and Rubbings in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 65,020.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady By The Plum Tree von Wu Guandai kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.599,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 45.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Guandai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers and Rubbings im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 65.020,16).
