Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2, which included the work Figures by Wu Guandai. The price achieved of HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,727.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Guandai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers and Rubbings in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 65,020.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures von Wu Guandai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.727,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Guandai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers and Rubbings im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 65.020,16).
