This artwork by Wouterus Verschuur achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in January 2021. In the Master Paintings Part II auction, the work The Horse Fair sold for USD 189,000.00 (€ 155,747.84) - well above the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00.
