In September 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures, which included the work Totems by Wout Müller. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Wout Müller have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2012 the work Ruysch was auctioned for EUR 3,750.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im September 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Totems von Wout Müller zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Wout Müller konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2012 die Arbeit Ruysch für EUR 3.750,00 versteigert.
