Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Wout Müller could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Country Fair changed hands for USD 250.00 (€ 179.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wout Müller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ruysch in March 2012 with an auction result of EUR 3,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wout Müller konnte im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Country Fair für USD 250,00 (€ 179,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wout Müller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ruysch im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.750,00.
