In March 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, which included the work Self portrait with egg by Wout Müller. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,750.00 72% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wout Müller; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ruysch sold at auction in March 2012 with the realized price of EUR 3,750.00.

Im März 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self portrait with egg von Wout Müller zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.750,00 und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wout Müller; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ruysch im März 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 3.750,00.
