Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of the artist Cornelis Doolaard by Wout Müller for USD 250.00 (€ 179.93). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wout Müller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ruysch in March 2012 with an auction result of EUR 3,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of the artist Cornelis Doolaard von Wout Müller für USD 250,00 (€ 179,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wout Müller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ruysch im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.750,00.
