Despite a disappointment, a good price for Woong Kim
This work of art by Woong Kim could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Japanese and Korean Art auction, the work Untitled, 1988 changed hands for USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,458.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Untitled, 1988 is the most expensive artwork by Woong Kim that we have observed at auction so far.
