Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Dutch Compositie by Wobbe Alkema. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wobbe Alkema achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work En Passant in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 84,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch Compositie von Wobbe Alkema zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wobbe Alkema erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit En Passant im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.000,00.
