A top price for Wing Shya
In May this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction Disruptors: Evening Sale of 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Design and Watches, which included the work Three works: Happy Together Stills (i) The Talk at Bar Sur; (ii) Prologue 2; (iii) Two to Tango by Wing Shya. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 165,100.00 (€ 19,789.07), 38% above the upper estimate. With this result, Three works: Happy Together Stills (i) The Talk at Bar Sur; (ii) Prologue 2; (iii) Two to Tango is even the most expensive work of art by Wing Shya that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion Disruptors: Evening Sale of 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Design and Watches durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three works: Happy Together Stills (i) The Talk at Bar Sur; (ii) Prologue 2; (iii) Two to Tango von Wing Shya zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 165.100,00 (€ 19.789,07) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Three works: Happy Together Stills (i) The Talk at Bar Sur; (ii) Prologue 2; (iii) Two to Tango sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wing Shya, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
