Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Chamber by Wing Shya was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 25,200.00 (€ 3,144.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wing Shya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three works: Happy Together Stills (i) The Talk at Bar Sur; (ii) Prologue 2; (iii) Two to Tango in May this year with an auction result of HKD 165,100.00 (€ 19,789.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Chamber von Wing Shya kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.200,00 (€ 3.144,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wing Shya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three works: Happy Together Stills (i) The Talk at Bar Sur; (ii) Prologue 2; (iii) Two to Tango im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 165.100,00 (€ 19.789,07).
