Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In August 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction TWGHs 150th Anniversary: Skateboard Deck Art Online Exhibition cum Charity Auction 東華三院150周年：滑板藝術網上展覽暨慈善拍賣, which included the work Hong Kong: Fictional/Real by Wing Shya. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 23,940.00 (€ 2,587.35), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Wing Shya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three works: Happy Together Stills (i) The Talk at Bar Sur; (ii) Prologue 2; (iii) Two to Tango in May this year with an auction result of HKD 165,100.00 (€ 19,789.07).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im August 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion TWGHs 150th Anniversary: Skateboard Deck Art Online Exhibition cum Charity Auction 東華三院150周年：滑板藝術網上展覽暨慈善拍賣 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hong Kong: Fictional/Real von Wing Shya zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 23.940,00 (€ 2.587,35) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wing Shya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three works: Happy Together Stills (i) The Talk at Bar Sur; (ii) Prologue 2; (iii) Two to Tango im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 165.100,00 (€ 19.789,07).
