Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Winfried Virnich was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in January 2011. It changed hands for a price of USD 875.00 (€ 637.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 700.00 – 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Winfried Virnich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ohne Titel, which sold at auction in June 2020 for EUR 1,548.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Winfried Virnich wurde im Januar 2011 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 875,00 (€ 637,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Winfried Virnich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für EUR 1.548,00 versteigert wurde.
