Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jerusalem Seen from the Mount of Olives by Wim Wenders was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2014. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,086.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wim Wenders have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lake Galilee before Sunrise in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 60,296.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jerusalem Seen from the Mount of Olives von Wim Wenders kam im April 2014 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.086,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wim Wenders auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lake Galilee before Sunrise im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 51.650,00 (€ 60.296,09).
