Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art and, which included the work Park (probably Prinsenbolwerk, Haarlem) by Wim Schuhmacher. The price achieved of EUR 8,225.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wim Schuhmacher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vrouw in duinen (Melitta) in November 2000 with an auction result of NLG 234,040.00 (€ 109,644.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art and durch, in der auch die Arbeit Park (probably Prinsenbolwerk, Haarlem) von Wim Schuhmacher zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.225,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wim Schuhmacher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vrouw in duinen (Melitta) im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 234.040,00 (€ 109.644,00).
