Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude by Wim Schuhmacher was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. The price achieved of EUR 720.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wim Schuhmacher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vrouw in duinen (Melitta) in November 2000 with an auction result of NLG 234,040.00 (€ 109,644.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude von Wim Schuhmacher wurde im Januar 2006 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 720,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wim Schuhmacher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vrouw in duinen (Melitta) im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 234.040,00 (€ 109.644,00).
