Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Corsican woman by Wim Schuhmacher was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2006. The price achieved of EUR 12,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wim Schuhmacher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vrouw in duinen (Melitta) in November 2000 with an auction result of NLG 234,040.00 (€ 109,644.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Corsican woman von Wim Schuhmacher kam im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wim Schuhmacher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vrouw in duinen (Melitta) im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 234.040,00 (€ 109.644,00).
