Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Mode Paco Rabanne (Elsa Martinelli) - 1967 by Willy Rizzo for EUR 650.00. This price was achieved in the auction Photography Bruno Mouron Collection at Artcurial and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Willy Rizzo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Brigitte Bardot, Saint-Tropez in April last year with an auction result of USD 3,024.00 (€ 2,869.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mode Paco Rabanne (Elsa Martinelli) - 1967 von Willy Rizzo für EUR 650,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photography Bruno Mouron Collection bei Artcurial erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willy Rizzo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Brigitte Bardot, Saint-Tropez im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.024,00 (€ 2.869,89).
