Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Mode Paco Rabanne (Elsa Martinelli) - 1967 by Willy Rizzo was auctioned at Artcurial in December 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,690.00. Other works by Willy Rizzo have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April last year by the work Brigitte Bardot, Saint-Tropez at USD 3,024.00 (€ 2,869.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Mode Paco Rabanne (Elsa Martinelli) - 1967 von Willy Rizzo im Dezember 2015 bei Artcurial versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.690,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Willy Rizzo wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April letzten Jahres die Arbeit Brigitte Bardot, Saint-Tropez mit USD 3.024,00 (€ 2.869,89).
