Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Shattered Head by William Turnbull was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 892.50 (€ 1,064.57). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Turnbull achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lotus Totem in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 701,000.00 (€ 988,401.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Shattered Head von William Turnbull kam im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 892,50 (€ 1.064,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Turnbull erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lotus Totem im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 701.000,00 (€ 988.401,20).
