In August 2001 Christies in Sydney held the auction AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS, which included this untitled work by William Rose. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 2,467.50 (€ 1,432.45), 23% above the upper estimate. Other works by William Rose have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 3,465.50 (€ 2,045.50) in March 2006 for the work without title.

Im August 2001 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von William Rose zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 2.467,50 (€ 1.432,45) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von William Rose haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 3.465,50 (€ 2.045,50) im März 2006 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
