The price achieved of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,989.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Raymond Dommersen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A street in the Jews Quarter, Amsterdam in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 20,315.00.
