Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work La Roquette, Nice by William Raymond Dommersen for GBP 875.00 (€ 984.96). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art & Orientalist Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Raymond Dommersen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A street in the Jews Quarter, Amsterdam in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 20,315.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La Roquette, Nice von William Raymond Dommersen für GBP 875,00 (€ 984,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art & Orientalist Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
