Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer, which included the work ‘Tv Time’ by William Papas. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 853.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Other works by William Papas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2018 the work Brief Candle was auctioned for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,423.19).

Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer durch, in der auch die Arbeit ‘Tv Time’ von William Papas zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 853,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Andere Arbeiten von William Papas konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2018 die Arbeit Brief Candle für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.423,19) versteigert.
