Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 126,000.00 (€ 116,043.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Michael Harnett - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Violin, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 500,000.00 (€ 453,761.68).
