Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Scottish and Sporting Pictures, which included the work Ulva From The White Sands by William Mervyn Glass. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,643.50), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by William Mervyn Glass have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,934.11) in April 2007 for the work The Monk Rocks, Iona.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Scottish and Sporting Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ulva From The White Sands von William Mervyn Glass zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.643,50) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von William Mervyn Glass haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 14.934,11) im April 2007 für die Arbeit The Monk Rocks, Iona beobachtet.
