Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Cuillin from Loch Coruisk, Skye by William Mervyn Glass was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,245.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Mervyn Glass achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Monk Rocks, Iona in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,934.11).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.245,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
