The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,378.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Langson Lathrop - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cattle Grazing, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 38,400.00 (€ 28,712.43).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.378,02) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von William Langson Lathrop mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cattle Grazing beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 38.400,00 (€ 28.712,43) versteigert wurde.
