Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Art, which included the work Lowther Castle in two positions in the Channel off Dover by William John Huggins. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,432.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00.
