Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work The Estuary; and The Windmill by William Henry Crome for GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,817.74). This price was achieved in the auction British and Victorian Paintings at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Henry Crome - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape With A Young Boy Fishing, A Windmill Beyond, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 6,500.00 (€ 8,216.22).

Im September 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Estuary; and The Windmill von William Henry Crome für GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.817,74) erwerben.
