A top price for William Heick - as previously expected
The work Hats, Father's Day Picnic by William Heick was sold in the Photographs from the Ginny Williams Collection auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2020. The price achieved of USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,648.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hats, Father's Day Picnic is the most expensive artwork by William Heick that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Hats, Father's Day Picnic von William Heick wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Photographs from the Ginny Williams Collection bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.016,00 (€ 1.648,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Hats, Father's Day Picnic das teuerste Kunstwerk von William Heick, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
