A top price for William Heick - as previously expected
The work Hats, Father's Day Picnic by William Heick was sold in the Photographs from the Ginny Williams Collection auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2020. The price achieved of USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,648.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hats, Father's Day Picnic is the most expensive artwork by William Heick that we have observed at auctions so far.
