Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,175.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Gropper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Art Auction in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 42,185.39).
