A top price for William Gottlieb
In October 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The value of Art –A contemporary collection H061, which included the work "Ella Fitzgerald" by William Gottlieb. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 22,000.00 (€ 2,121.23), 47% above the upper estimate. With this result, "Ella Fitzgerald" is even the most expensive work of art by William Gottlieb that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The value of Art –A contemporary collection H061 durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Ella Fitzgerald" von William Gottlieb zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 22.000,00 (€ 2.121,23) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist "Ella Fitzgerald" sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von William Gottlieb, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
