Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work At The "Star of The East", West India Dock Road by William Gaunt was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,322.21). Other works by William Gaunt have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,115.54) in November 2005 for the work Public Speaking.
