In the Victorian & British Impressionist Art auction, the work Houghton Mill, near St Ives, Huntingdonshire sold for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,290.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Fraser Garden - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woodland scene at twilight, which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,947.85).

In der Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Art wurde die Arbeit Houghton Mill, near St Ives, Huntingdonshire für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 29.290,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von William Fraser Garden mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woodland scene at twilight beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 60.000,00 (€ 88.947,85) versteigert wurde.
