Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 240.00 (€ 353.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Evans of Eton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A shooting party outside Haddon Hall, Derbyshire in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 9,560.00 (€ 13,738.24).
