In September 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Irish Art, which included the work The North Road by William Crozier. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,217.92), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Crozier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Siegfried'S Way in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 121,347.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The North Road von William Crozier zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.217,92) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Crozier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Siegfried'S Way im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 121.347,56).
