Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by William Crozier could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Palace End changed hands for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,776.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Crozier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Siegfried'S Way in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 121,347.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von William Crozier konnte im Juli 2012 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wechselte die Arbeit Palace End für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.776,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Crozier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Siegfried'S Way im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 121.347,56).
