Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Island Harvest by William Crozier was sold in the The Irish Sale auction at Sothebys in London in March 2011. The price achieved of GBP 13,125.00 (€ 14,850.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Crozier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Siegfried'S Way in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 121,347.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Island Harvest von William Crozier wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion The Irish Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.125,00 (€ 14.850,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Crozier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Siegfried'S Way im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 121.347,56).
